5th Fighter Wing

The 5th Fighter Wing is an air wing of the Osean Air Defense Force. The Wardog Squadron, which played a major role in the Circum-Pacific War, and the 703rd Maintenance Squadron which Wolfgang Buchner worked as a mechanic[1], are the only known units under the 5th Fighter Wing.[2]

Trivia

  • The 5th Fighter Wing's motto, "Fifth But First", is a reference to the United States Air Force's 4th Fighter Wing's motto, "Fourth But First".
