Rudi Kaltz,[note 1] callsign Dryade, was a Belkan Air Force pilot.
Etymology
"Dryade" is German for "dryad," a tree nymph/spirit in Greek mythology.
Biography
Rudi Kaltz was born in Belka in 1967. 20 years later, he enlisted as a volunteer in the Belkan Air Force.
Kaltz made his name by forging a brilliant combat record over Ustio in the opening days of the Belkan War. He escorted Belkan bombers in their attempted bombing of Ustio's final defensive line Valais Air Base on April 2, 1995, but was shot down and killed by the base's assigned Allied Forces mercenaries.[1]
