Fenrir（日语：フェンリア）是一架大型架空机体，在《ACE COMBAT X Skies of Deception》中首次出现。在《ACE COMBAT INFINITY》，机体添加了型号，全名为XFA-33 Fenrir。

Fenrir的名字来自北欧神话中登场的巨狼芬里尔。

设计

Fenrir的概念是将雷萨斯在侵略奥雷利亚所投入的空中要塞缩小化成战斗机的大小，为雷萨斯军的终极攻击机。不过，开发出来的机体依然比一般的战斗机大型。机体具备了三个引擎；左右两侧的引擎有二维向喷嘴，而中央的引擎则有可向下的旋转喷嘴，令机体可以垂直起降，或甚至在空中进行特殊机动。[1]

Fenrir另一特征是可以运用光学迷彩，是空中要塞所用的改善版。虽然要透过地上的电磁波发射器受电，但性能比之前空中要塞的好。座舱采用了COFFIN系统。

武器方面，Fenrir装备了两门机炮和缠斗用的短射程导弹。机体也可以使用高出力微波兵器（HPM），把敌机的燃料加热引致机体爆炸，但需要和地上的电磁波发射器一起配合。另一种专用武器是冲击波导弹，为空中要塞所用的缩小版。其特殊燃料在空中引爆时产生非常大型的冲激波，可对超广大范围内的目标造成重大损害。

历史

在雷萨斯的军事领袖的指示下，雷萨斯从空中要塞的战斗吸取经验，并套用其科技制及军事工业复合体的技术能力开发了Fenrir。机体的开发和生产都是在雷萨斯的南部岛屿上的工场要塞中发生。

Fenrir最初的实战是在工场要塞上空击坠了在附近进行侦察的奥雷利亚军F-117A。奥雷利亚空军得知Fenrir的存在后，为了阻止雷萨斯量产新型战机及延长战争，派出秃鹰队攻击工场要塞。同时，雷萨斯的军事领袖在国家首都的运动场内展示了Fenrir的实物大模型，及大型萤幕展出工场要塞上空的现场，以张扬国家的技术和生产力为目标。雷萨斯空军从要塞派出数架Fenrir迎击，但最后被击落，要塞也被破坏。目击自己国家最强的机体被奥雷利亚军消灭后，忿怒的雷萨斯民众引起骚动并将运动场内的模型破坏。

战后，奥雷利亚军回收了Fenrir的残骸，并为了技术研究重组了机体。因为缺乏相关技术，奥雷利亚所重组的Fenrir欠缺光学迷彩、HPM、及垂直起降功能。然而，排除了无法再现的功能和零件令机体变轻，机动性也比原型机高了。[1]
