Ace Combat Infinity
- ‘A variant of the shipboard F-14A fighter, created via a major upgrade that includes switching out the engine.
Key improvements include resolution of engine trouble, increased propulsion, and revised avionics.
Further modifications were performed in the 90s, intended to extend the life of the aircraft and provide further air-to-surface attack capabilities. This modified F-14 is also used for high speed, long distance tactical attacks.
It is known as the "Tomcat," the same as the A type. When modified for bombing, the F-14 is unofficially also known as the "Bombcat".’ - ― Hangar说明
