Masahide Kito (鬼頭 雅英 Kitō Masahide) is a Japanese video game designer and screenwriter who works at Bandai Namco Entertainment. He is responsible for writing the radio scripts in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. He also served as an editor on the radio script for Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.

Biography

Bandai Namco

Kito's first contribution at Namco was on Klonoa: Moonlight Museum, a 1999 video game released on Bandai's WonderSwan handheld console.[1] He soon began working on the Ace Combat franchise, and served as the principal writer on the radio script for 2001's Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies.[2] He then served in a similar capacity as a radio script editor for Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, though also joined the level design team in the latter installment. Fifteen years later, Kito would return to the franchise as the radio script writer and cinematic designer on Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.[2] After finishing his work on the main campaign, Kito also served as the primary screenwriter for Skies Unknown's DLC missions.[3]
