Edgar Grint[a] was the leader of the Albireo Squadron during the Usean coup d'état.[1]
Biography
As part of the Usean Allied Forces, he fought in nearly every operation. He had originally planned to retire, but changed his mind at the start of the Usean coup d'état and served one last time with the Usean Rebel Forces.[2]
He then promised his wife that they would both move to a village in the countryside, away from airplanes after the war had ended.[2]
On August 30, 1998, his squadron was deployed to Snider's Top to engage the Scarface Squadron. He was later shot down and killed by Phoenix.[3]
After his death, pilots in his home country started to name themselves after birds.[2]
